
West Salem, WI – The 134th LaCrosse Interstate Fair begins on Wednesday, July 16 and will now feature the Central Wisconsin Racing Association Late Models as well as Legend Car racing that evening at LaCrosse Fairgrounds Speedway. It is all part of Five Dollar Family Fun Night at the Races. Admission to the races will be just five dollars per person, ages 11 and under will be admitted FREE for a fun filled night of racing action.
The CWRA returns to the 5/8 mile paved oval during the Wednesday Night Fair Time special event. A series with a long history of racing at the West Salem speed plant will host a mix of Central Wisconsin drivers as well as some LaCrosse regulars in twin 25-lap feature events. Cory Jankowski currently leads the point standings over Dillon Mackesy, Jeff Weinfurter, Mark Mackesy and Paul Paine.
The INEX Legend Cars will be making their second appearance of the 2025 season on the fast paced quarter mile track. Matt Trauch bested the field following a hard fought feature event. The Legends are scheduled for a 20 lap feature as well as preliminary events.
Spectator gates will open at 5pm with racing getting underway at 7pm. LaCrosse Fairgrounds Speedway is located at the LaCrosse Interstate Fairgrounds at N4985 County Highway M in West Salem, WI.
The Reffner Classic which was originally part of this event will now be absorbed into the ‘Knights’ Super Late Model race on Thursday night October 2, 2025, part of the 56th Oktoberfest Race Weekend.
