West Salem, WI- Race teams planning to partake in the 55th annual Oktoberfest Race Weekend will have multiple opportunities to fine tune their racing machines prior to the four-day racing weekend taking place October 3-4-5-6, 2024 at La Crosse Fairgrounds Speedway.  Race officials have released a complete schedule of open practice sessions leading up to the annual racing festival.

Saturday, September 28th

10am – Pit Gates Open (Registration/Pit Pass Sales at Pit Gate)

11am – Open Practice Begins

3pm – Open Practice Ends

3pm – Hauler Parking until 4:00 PM (for those not practicing)

  *No Haulers over 9’6” allowed in infield

Wednesday, October 2nd

8am – Hauler Parking Begins *No Haulers over 9’6” allowed in infield

12pm – Pit Gates Open (Registration/Pit Pass Sales at Pit Gate)

2:00pm – Open Practice Begins 

6:20pm – Open Practice Ends

*Only Haulers with cars racing Thursday night are allowed to stay in the pit area overnight

Thursday, October 3rd

8am – Pit Gates Open (Registration/Pit Pass Sales at Youth 4H Building)

9:30am – Open Practice Begins 

1:20pm – Open Practice Ends

1:30pm – All cars not racing on Thursday MUST leave pits

Friday, October 4th

8am – Pit Gates Open (Registration/Pit Pass Sales at Youth 4H Building)

9:30am – Open Practice Begins 

12pm – Open Practice Ends

Saturday, October 5th

8am – Pit Gates Open (Registration/Pit Pass Sales at Youth 4H Building)

9:30am – Open Practice Begins 

12:20pm – Open Practice Ends
