Leaning on sports car racing, which has long combined classes within the same race, LFS Promoter Chuck Deery whom earlier this year attended the famed 24 Hours of Daytona, is looking forward to seeing the two divisions battle one another.  “With Elko unable to open this week, we have had many teams inquire about running with us on Saturday nights.  We did a trial run last week, the cars were evenly matched and it made for some really competitive racing.  This Saturday Night promises much of the same.” Noted Deery.  The Double Division Duel will declare a winner for each division and will feature a separate purse payout and points calculation for each division as well.  Each class will follow the rules as set by their home track.  Additionally, Hoosier Tire will award a new Hoosier 850 tire at random to a competitor in each of the two divisions.
