(West Salem, WI) – Get Revved up race fans, as this Saturday Night should be a great night of fun, action and excitement in the Coulee Region – for the first night racing program of 2018!

This Saturday night race fans will have the opportunity to catch all of the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series excitement, as Gundersen Tri-State Ambulance presents four divisions of excitement to kick off the weekly racing season, including the Tobacco Outlet Plus Grocery NASCAR Late Models, The Dean’s Satellite & Security Sportsmen – both on the 5/8th mile track, and the action track will feature the Auto Value Parts Stores Thunderstox, the Auto Value Street Stocks.


Bring out the kids early for the first of two BOX CAR RACES this season. Kids are invited onto the race track at the start/finish line after qualifying, for their own running race! Parents and Kids – grab a cardboard box, cut holes for arms, head and legs, then decorate it with paint, stickers or markers like a race car, and bring it along on Saturday night. Sign up at the back of the race tower during qualifying – kids age 4-11 are invited to participate!

The NASCAR Late Models will race in TWO 20-Lap Feature Races – to thrill the fans hungry for action. The drivers are eager to get back on the track, so don’t miss the excitement!

Pit Gate Opens at 3:30, Practice Laps at 4:45, Grandstand Gate opens at 6:00 and Qualifying starts at 6:15. Racing starts at 7:30 p.m.

General Admission is $13.50, Students age 12-17 are $7.00, Kids age 6-11 are $3.50 and children ages 5 & under are FREE. But wait! It’s Armed Forces day, and all current military presenting a valid I.D. at the Box office are admitted in absolutely FREE! And it’s nearing the end of another school year, so all High School Students presenting a valid current school I.D. card will also be admitted in Free.
