(West Salem, WI) – Following an exciting opening night last weekend, fans will have to wait an additional week to get back to the track and fulfill their need for speed and family fun. Tonight’s racing events at LaCrosse Speedway have been cancelled because of rain and the system impacting the upper Midwest today.
“There’s cold weather. There’s wet weather. When you put the two together, it’s absolutely miserable to be outside in,” commented Speedway General Manager. We have decided to cancel tonight’s events as the chances of rain continue throughout the evening.”
The Next event on the Speedway schedule will be Saturday, May 27th, as Whelen Engineering presents all of the short track racing fun, action, and excitement of the NASCAR Whelen All American Series! Fans will get to see all the great action of the Tobacco Outlet Plus Late Models, the Dean’s Satellite Sportsmen, Auto Value Thunderstox, ANTS Pest Control Hornets and the annual Queen Bees Race. Plus, it’s a fan favorite – Concession Buck Night! All your favorite menu items and drink items are just a dollar and all beers are just $2.
