April 26, 2017 (West Salem, WI) – It’s Time to give that famous command to start engines on a brand new season at LaCrosse Fairgrounds Speedway!

Join us this Sunday for the 2017 racing season opening event. It’s the 5th annual Frostbuster race, presented by Budweiser.

Fans will get their first look at a new NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Season, while drivers will get their first thrill of the year on the 5/8th mile and 1/4th mile tracks. In action will be the Kwik Trip NASCAR Late Models, Dean’s Satellite Sportsmen, Auto Value Thunderstox, ANTS Complete Pest Control Hornets, and Auto Value Street Stocks. Plus, a Thunderstox Double Spin to Win fun Novelty Race!

The Excitement of a new season brings along new faces, new cars, new looks. It’s been over 6 months since you’ve smelled that racing fuel burn… and heard those engines roar! Who will be the rookies? Who will be the Championship contenders? Come on out and help us bring in the new season this Sunday Afternoon!

General Admission is $12.50, Students age 12-17 are $6.50, Kids age 6-11 are $3 and Children age 5 & under are FREE! Pits open at 10:30, Grandstand Gates open at 12:30, Qualifying at 12:45 and racing gets started at 2:00.
