FRANKIE BALLARD CONCERT THURSDAY
For the first time at LaCrosse Speedway, a top-40 Country Music act hits center stage at the race track!

Current star Frankie Ballard will take to the stage and sing his top songs Helluva Life, Sunshine and Whiskey, Young and Crazy, A Buncha Girls, and his current hit, It all Started with a Beer.

Ballard is in his fourth year as a hit musician on the Country Charts.

The Ballard Concert kicks off with gates opening at 6:00, and at 7:00 New Black Seven will take to the stage. At 8:00 Old Southern Moonshine Revival will perform,
followed by Ballard after 9:00p.m.

Be sure to get your tickets online now at , or you can pick them up at the Speedway box office, or any area Festival Foods Location. Admission is $20 in advance, or $25 the day of the concert.

STREET DRAGS FRIDAY

Then on Friday night, July 15th, Premier Powdercoating presents Street Drags! Come on out and participate in one of several different brackets of Street Car Drag racing.

Brackets include Muscle Cars, Tuners, Trucks, Open, Cycles, ATV’s, Sedans, SUV’s / Mini Vans, 4×4 / AWD and more! If it’s got wheels and an engine, there’s a place to race it at the track this Friday.

If the drag racing is not your thing, maybe take part in the Shine N’ Show contest – show off your great looking ride, or make noise and smoke in the Burnout Contest.

Gate opens at 6:00, Practice Runs at 6:45, and the first bracket starts at 7:30. General Admission (Grandstands) is $7, and Kids age 11 & under are Free. Pit Passes for all ages are $7, and registration per bracket is $10, for this Interstate Fair Special Race, where bracket winners receive an exclusive “Bracket Winner” T-Shirt with their trophy.

NASCAR Racing Returns Saturday

Saturday night July 16th, it’s the 126th annual LaCrosse Interstate Fair NASCAR Racing, presented by Budweiser.

Watch the Kwik Trip NASCAR Late Models race in TWO 20 Lap Feature Races, plus the weekly warriors of the Dean’s Satellite Sportsmen, Auto Value Thunderstox and the ANTS Complete Pest Control Hornets.

Bring out the kids early for KQ98 Kids’ Rides – where they can have the chance to ride in a race car for a lap around the 5/8th mile track! Sign up early at the Souvenir Stand from 6:00-6:45. Rides start immediately after qualifying.

General Admission is $13, Students age 12-17 are $7, Kids age 6-11 are $3, and children age 5 & under are Free. The Gates open at 6:00, and the action gets going at 7:30.
