July 8, 2015 – (West Salem, WI) – Calling all racing and automobile fans this weekend! Join us for two days of fun at the LaCrosse Speedway this Friday and Saturday night.

STREET DRAGS THIS FRIDAY

Start your weekend with all the fun of Premier Powdercoating Street Drags on Friday night. Come on out and watch from the grandstands, or the pits, or enter your car into one of the drag racing brackets of action! The fun of Street Drags is for everyone of all ages, and you can bring out your friends or family and show off what your car’s got.

Many brackets are available to fit your street legal car, truck, van, suv or cycle into. Detroit Iron, the muscle cars of the glory days built by the major U.S. Automobile manufacturers – like Firebirds, Corvettes, Trans-Ams, Camaros, for example. There’s Pickup Truck Brackets, a family vehicle / mini-van class, High Skool class, Ford Mustangs bracket, Motorcycles / 4-wheeled ATV’s, Tuners, 4×4, Diesel bracket and more. Plus, hear the thunder as you watch the powerful open-class bracket cars race down the track!

Then there’s a burnout contest, where some like to make a lot of noise and smoke to the approval of the crowd. The Shine N’ Show contest is a great chance for you to show off your classic, muscle or performance vehicle. Got some great special effects or aftermarket parts on it? Show it off! Or just take the time to check out all the vehicles all polished up and appreciate the beauty of finely-tuned and taken-care-of machines.

The gates for both pits and grandstands open Friday July 10th at 6:00 p.m. Bracket Registration starts at 6:00 and is $5 per bracket. Pit admission for all ages is $7. Grandstand admission is $7 for age 18 & up, $5 for age 12-17, and age 11 & under are FREE.

NASCAR RACING THIS SATURDAY

Then, on Saturday Night, FESTIVAL FOODS presents all of the action, excitement, thrills and spills of the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series!

Hear the thunder of the Kwik Trip NASCAR Late Models as they speed around the 5/8th mile track, watch the side-by-side action of the Dean’s Satellite Sportsmen, and then see the Auto Value Thunderstox and ANTS Complete Pest Control Hornet drivers duke it out on the quarter mile track. But wait, there’s more fun still ready for your enjoyment at the races this Saturday in a Wild N’ Crazy Figure-8 Race!

Here’s your chance to get some great stuff for not a lot of money! Go Shopping at Festival Foods this week and stop at the service desk and pick up a Two-For-One Adult Admission voucher valid for this Saturday night’s races! Bring a friend and you’ll both get in for the price of one! Vouchers available only at Festival Foods through this Friday, so hurry and get one while supplies last.

KIDS’ EVENTS THIS SATURDAY

It’s another great week to come on out to the track with the kids this Saturday night! Come out early and sign up your kids ages 5-11 for a ride in a race car around the track as it’s KQ98 FM Kids’ Cruiser Night! Signup starts at 6:00 and goes until 6:45 at the Souvenir Stand. Rides begin right after the completion of qualifying!

It’s also another night of fun for the members of the 2015 Features Sports Bar & Grill Kids’ Club! All members are welcome to join us at the track from 6:15 until 7:00, and enter the drawing to be a junior official! Help out our pace car driver, announcer, flagman and trophy presenter during the actual race events. Exclusive opportunities to our Kids’ Club Members! And… the BIG EVENT COMPANY (Big-E) Company will be on hand with an inflatable for pre-race fun! Gates open at 6:00, qualifying starts at 6:15, and the racing starts at 7:30. Grandstand general admission is $12, Students age 12-17 are $6, and Kids age 6-11 are $3, Children age 5 & under are FREE.
