40 LAPS OF LATE MODEL RACING THIS SATURDAY

May 28, 2015 – (West Salem, WI) – This Saturday night, fans are treated to a great evening of NASCAR Whelen All-American Series short track stock car racing presented by Whelen Engineering.

The action begins at 7:30, featuring the Kwik Trip NASCAR Late Models, Dean’s Satellite Sportsmen, Auto Value Thunderstox, and the third event of the year for the ANTS Complete Pest Control Hornets. Plus, this Saturday night is the annual Queen Bees Race, a race for ladies only!

Fans are in for a treat as the Late Models will run a total of 40 Feature Racing Laps, in two 20 Lap Main events. Can the outcome of the first race effect the second race? What events on the track will develop? Can anyone…. or who, will be the one to beat Steve Carlson? Bet on Harley Jankowski, Brad Powell, Adam Degenhardt or Mike Carlson to challenge for the win, as all have had races with a fast car. Or maybe will a part time driver, like Shawn Pfaff hit the right setup and defeat the #66?

The Sportsmen field is wide open this year, to see a first time champion, and many different drivers are candidates for a trip to Victory Lane. Several drivers in the top ten are still searching for that very first Feature win, and it looks like some of them are knocking on the door of Victory Lane. Last week Tony Leis won his first feature of the 2015 season, edging out Frostbuster Winner Nick Clements and three drivers battling for their first win. Help us celebrate the wins and achievements of the drivers this season on race night!

One thing’s for sure: Some of those questions will be answered this Saturday night, so join us for a great night of action.
