AN ACTION PACKED NIGHT OF RACING & FUN THIS SATURDAY

July 4, 2014 (West Salem, WI) – The local stars and cars of the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series resume racing action for the second time in three days this Saturday night!

LaCrosse Tribune presents the NASCAR Racing action of the Kwik Trip NASCAR Late Models, Grand National Sportsmen, United Auto Supply Thunderstox, and the Coke Zero Outlawz, as they take their battles for points and glory to the track.

What new winners will emerge? Can we see a driver charge from the back of the pack? Who will spin? The racing will be fast and furious on both the 5/8th mile and 1/4th mile tracks.

Plus, check out all the madness during the Zimmerman Driving School Figure-8 race! Cars will duke it out on the tight figure-8 course, right on the front straight!

The Zimmerman Driving School Figure-8 Race will again be a spectacle for fans to enjoy.

But wait, there’s more. An annual fan favorite, the Race in Total Darkness will take place. Watch the Thunderstox cars race around the fast five-eighths mile track with all the race track lights off! Try and keep track of who’s running where as the race progresses.

And… it’s time again for the kids to have their race on the track in the Subway Fresh Fit for Kids Box Car Race! Get a box all decorated up, cut holes in it for the child’s arms, legs and head, and bring it for a running race just after Late Model Qualifying! Sign up at the back of the race tower between 6:00 and 6:50 to get involved.

Bring out the friends or family this Saturday night to watch the local stars battle it out at your NASCAR Hometrack. It’s short track racing and fun that’s so close to home!

General Admission is $12, Students age 12-17 with a student I.D. are $6. Kids age 6-11 are $3, while all kids age 5 & under are FREE! Grandstand gate opens at 6:00, and racing gets underway at 7:30.
