Grab a bag of Old Dutch Snacks at your favorite retailer today!

June 26, 2014 (West Salem, WI) – This Saturday night will be a great night of action, fun and excitement at LaCrosse Speedway, as the 2014 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series marches on into the season.

Fans are encouraged to arrive early for the annual pre-race driver autograph session right on the race track’s frontstretch! The session, which takes place from 6:15 until 7:00, allows fans young and old the chance to take photos with their favorite drivers, pick up a driver’s autograph card, and create many new memories of what takes place at LaCrosse Fairgrounds Speedway.

On the way into the grandstands, the first 500 fans will receive a FREE 2014 Late Model drivers’ collector poster!

Old Dutch Foods presents all the racing action, featuring the Kwik Trip NASCAR Late Models, Grand National Sportsmen, United Auto Supply Thunderstox and the ANTS Complete Pest Control Hornets.

Last Time the Hornets were in action was in the Rain on the Smash O’ Rama.

Race Fans will also be blessed to watch the fun annual Faster Pastor Races! Check out area Church Pastors in their own battle on the track. New this year! A Pastor Powder Puff race – or – race for Lady Pastors!

Koeneke Rolls on
Rockland’s Mike Koeneke is having the best Late Model season of his racing career. Last Saturday, he started mid-pack and noticeably had the fastest car. He was able to capitalize on that and hold off Steve Carlson, whom is chasing him for the point standings lead.

Koeneke has never won a Late Model Title, but has the 1994 Grand National Sportsmen Title to his earnings. He raced Late Models in the 90’s after his Sportsmen championship, but took nearly a decade off before returning to the track in Late Model full time in 2010. A mid-season win solidified his comeback.

A part time racing schedule the past three seasons has led him prepare for a full time championship run in 2014.

Koeneke won a feature in his 2010 comeback season.
Bring out the friends or family this Saturday night to watch the local stars battle it out at your NASCAR Hometrack. It’s short track racing and fun that’s so close to home!

General Admission is $12, Students age 12-17 with a student I.D. are $6. Kids age 6-11 are $3, while all kids age 5 & under are FREE! Grandstand gate opens at 6:00, and racing gets underway at 7:30.

Be sure to put on your schedule that you can catch all of the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series action twice next week, with a Star Spangled Spectacular on Thursday, July 3rd, with Fireworks, and then on Saturday, July 5th.
