West Salem, WI. – Officials from LaCrosse Fairgrounds Speedway announced today a new title sponsor for its popular Street Drags events.

Premier Powdercoating, Inc., of Ettrick, Wisconsin, has joined forces with the LaCrosse Speedway for the 2014 Friday night Street Drags.

“We are excited to have Premier Powdercoating team up with the Street Drags for the 2014 season. Premier is just that…a match to its name, one of the finest powder coating companies in the tri-state area,” commented Dave Noelke, speedway marketing director.

In 2014, the traditional popular brackets will return, including Trucks, Cycles, Detroit Iron, Tuners, Family / Mini-Van, Mustangs, Domestic Sedans, Open Class, 4×4 / AWD, as well as high-end performance brackets for many of those classes. Pure O.E.M. (stands for “Original Equipment Manufacturer”) and Turbo-Charged brackets may be added to the fun this season as well. The fan favorite “Burnout Contest” and shine N’ show contest will again accompany all of the action.

The LaCrosse Fairgrounds Speedway opens its 8th Street Drags season on Friday night, May 9th, and will run the second Friday of the month through September.
