LAST WEEK’S ACTION
The action on the track last Saturday was fast and furious, in all divisions. The Kwik Trip NASCAR Late Model feature had plenty of excitement as there were battles throughout the field, and fans saw some hard-charging drivers muscle their way through the pack to get the front. When the checkers were in the air, it was Todd Korish narrowly ahead of Steve Carlson and Mike Koeneke, in what fans saw was the best finish of the season.

Steve Bachman took the checkers in the Exhaust Plus Sportsmen division while fending off all the battles mid pack. Lots of side-by-side racing and a great save by Jerrod Loging in the corners kept fans at the edge of their seats.

Although the United Auto Supply Thunderstox feature went caution free, there was plenty of action, as usual, as the heavy v-8’s took to the small quarter mile track. It was Adam Moore taking control of the race and pulling off the win when the checkers flew.

The Volden Construction Outlawz feature almost went a rare caution free race, but that was spoiled with two laps to go when Tom Luethe spun in turn one. That bunched up the field for a two lap shootout, and when leaders Jerrod Loging and Cole Scholze tangled, Wayne Smith took off with the white flag and the checkered flag.

Just what may take place this week? You never know, so check out all of the live unscripted drama and action as it unfolds at the LaCrosse Speedway this Saturday night.

MID-AMERICAN STOCK CAR SERIES TO RACE ON AUGUST 24TH

Just added to the 2013 schedule is a great racing series that normally only visits at the Oktoberfest Race Weekend – the Mid-American Stock Car Series. “The series had a cancellation to their schedule, and they approached the LaCrosse Team to have an event in August,” commented Director of Competition Ray Loughan. “We came to an agreement to have them visit on August 24th, and fans should be treated to a great night of action that also includes our weekly Late Models, Sportsmen, Thunderstox and Outlawz. Plus, it’s Buck Night at the concessions, so fans should be in for a real Treat,” concluded Loughan.
