July 10, 2013 (West Salem, WI) – Street Drags Next Two Fridays

A summertime weekend of fun is just ahead at the track this Friday and Saturday night!

Start out your weekend at the first of two MONSTER ENERGY DRINK Street Drag Events in the next two weeks! It’s fast. It’s Furious. And best of all…. It’s Fun! Drag Race YOUR OWN CAR down the Speedway’s dragstrip and show off your car and your guts and glory to all of your friends! There’s no police cars. No cross traffic or pedestrians. No Stoplights. Just you, another car, and the asphalt. Just hit the gas, look straight ahead and GO!

The first car to the line wins and during the double elimination rounds, the final two cars will go head-to-head on a best of three series in their respective bracket. Speaking of brackets, there’s over fifteen different brackets of fun that YOUR CAR may fit into to participate. Mustangs, Tuners, Open (Pros), Detroit Iron (Muscle Cars), Domestic, Trucks, 4×4 / AWD, ATV’s, Cycles, and High Skool (open to any vehicle driven by high school students). Plus… many of these brackets are split into high performance and stock classes.

Wait…. there’s more! A Burnout Competition and a Shine N’ Show Contest to show off your great looking vehicle or to brag about its horsepower!

Gates open at 6:00, Practice Runs and Grudge Matches at 6:15, and the first bracket begins at 7:30. Grandstand admission is just $5. Kids age 11 & Under are FREE. Pit Passes for all going into the pit area are $5. Registration is $5 per bracket to participate.
