October 24, 2012 (West Salem, WI) – Officials of LaCrosse Fairgrounds Speedway today have announced details of the 26th Annual Champions’ Banquet. The banquet will be held on a new date this winter, Friday night, December 14th. Once again, the event will return to the Stoney Creek Inn’s Northwoods Conference Center, located in Onalaska, Wisconsin.

“The new date provides closure on the 2012 season a little bit sooner while it’s still somewhat fresh in all the competitor’s minds,” commented Marketing Director Dave Noelke. “Then the teams can start focusing on the 2013 season.” This will be the eighth straight year of having the event at the popular Conference Center at Stoney Creek Inn.

The doors will open at 6:00, with a social hour. Dinner will take place at 7:00, and the awards presentation will immediately begin following dinner.

“Over 100 awards will be handed out to recipients, and I look forward to congratulating each and every one of them,” commented Director of Competition Ray Loughan. “Many will take home awards that will be voted on by their fellow competitors, which is a great accomplishment.” Highlighting the evening will be presentation of the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Track Champions in Late Model, Sportsmen and Thunderstox, plus the Hornets and Outlawz champions, Dash Champions and Novelty Champion.

Tickets will only be available in advance, and will be available between November 5th and December 6th. Space is limited to the first 325 guests.
