Sign up at the Souvenir stand between 6pm and 6:45 for the KQ98 FM Kids’ Rides in Grand National Sportsmen Cars right after Late Model Qualifying.
Feature racing came right down to the wire last week, proving that just anything can happen before the checkered flag flies!
Don’t forget, May is Kids’ Month! All kids age 11 & Under are admitted in FREE! And, for this Saturday, It’s High School night, where all High School Students with a valid HS Student I.D. are admitted in FREE!
Gates open at 6:00, Qualifying is at 6:15, and the fun begins at 7:30. Event General admission is $11, Students age 12-17 with a Student I.D. are Free. Kids age 11 & Under Are Free on May 19 & 26th, 2012.

Kids’ Box Car Race Coming Up May 26th
Attention Kids and parents! On Saturday, May 26th, the Speedway will have a Box Car Race for the kids during pre-race activities. Sign up at the Back of the race tower when you arrive for a race around the frontstretch of the track immediately after Late Model Qualifying!
To compete in a box car race is simple. Parents and kids.. this is a fun project to work on together. Find a cardboard box that fits over your child. Cut holes for the arms and legs to reach out, and for the head to stick out. Decorate like your youngster’s favorite race car. Bring it and a pair of running shoes out to the track on May 26th for a running race! Fun and trophies are waiting for you! Sign up between 6pm and 6:45 and the race will begin right after qualifying.
