PERSISTENT SHOWERS FORCE CANCELLATION

(West Salem, WI – September 3, 2011) USG Sheetrock may be able to cover most American walls with their fine product, but Mother Nature covered the La Crosse Fairgrounds Speedway with walls of rain Saturday.

The rain was coming down earlier in the day and radars showed clear skies for the USG Sheetrock night at the races, but on-and-off showers in the afternoon deterred track drying efforts and forced track officials to call the races ending the regular season one night early.
