KQEG-TV TO HIGHLIGHT RACING IN WESTERN WISCONSIN WITH THE 7 RIVERS RACING SHOW

(LaCrosse, WI) February 24, 2011 – For years, western Wisconsin has been a hot bed for local dirt and asphalt racing, and KQEG-TV in LaCrosse will put a spotlight on the popular sport. The 7 Rivers Racing Show, airing Thursday nights at 5:30pm and Friday mornings at 6:30am, is being hosted by long time race track announcer, Dan Deicher and former NASCAR Winston Cup Official, Al Locy. Deicher, a radio news anchor/reporter, is currently the voice of the LaCrosse Fairgrounds Speedway and Locy is crew chief of his son’s late model race car and owner of a race apparel store.

The show features a driver spotlight with interviews from the shop, the tracks and the studio, a tech corner which will highlight what it takes to maintain and race a high powered race car as well as updates on “what’s happening” at The LaCrosse Fairgrounds Speedway in West Salem, WI., Excailbur Speedway in Tomah, WI., Dells Raceway Park in Wisconsin Dells, WI., the Tri-Oval Speedway in Fountain City, WI. and the ASA Midwest Tour.

The 7 Rivers Racing Show, which airs on KQEG-TV Channel 23 in LaCrosse, Channel 51 in Sparta and Tomah, and on Charter Cable Channel 5, is sponsored by Cary Heating and Air Conditioning, Lost Lake Beer, the Holmen American Legion, West Salem Health Mart Pharmacy and www.fansarena.com.
