Concert to be held During LaCrosse Interstate Fair, July 14th

Just announced this week!  Country music singer Frankie Ballard will be playing in concert at the LaCrosse Fairgrounds Speedway, Thursday July 14th!

The concert, hosted by KQ98FM and LaCrosse Speedway will take place during the 126th Annual LaCrosse Interstate Fair.  The stage will be set in the infield of the LaCrosse Speedway, allowing for standing room, or grandstand seating, in conjunction with the Speedway’s convenient event amenities.There will be two bands to precede Ballard’s performance, both yet to be announced.

In 2013, Ballard released his third single, “Helluva Life“. It is the lead single to his second album,Sunshine & Whiskey. It became his first number 1 single in early 2014. Later in the year, the album’s title track also went to number 1. “Young & Crazy“, the album’s third single, also went to number 1 on the top 40 chart.Chesney Connection

In 1997, a young Kenny Chesney played in concert at the LaCrosse Interstate Fairgrounds. The concert was held just as his song “She’s Got it All” was peaking as the top of the charts, and became his first #1 on the top 40.  Ironically, in 2008, Ballard signed up for Chesney’s “Next Big Star” competition.After winning the competition for Michigan that year, Ballard also opened shows for Chesney at various venues throughout the state of Michigan.Tickets on Sale Now
