June 12, 2018 – (West Salem, WI) – It is Old Dutch night at the races! That means the first 500 folks through the gate will get a snack from Old Dutch! In addition to the munchies, there will be a full night of racing, including the Tobacco Outlet plus Grocery Late Models, Dean’s Satellite Sportsmen, Auto Value Thunderstox, and the Auto Value Street Stocks. Plus, it is Fastor Pastor night. See what the leaders of the “flock” can become leaders of the pack.
What is up with the weather?
The Speedway (fans and drivers as well) have been tolerating just rotten luck with rainy weather. The “law of averages” should come into effect and we should see some dry and nice weather for the rest of the season. Drivers are anxious to get back to racing. With the loss of the last two Saturdays, Tobacco Outlet plus Grocery teams are seeking to add some double features to the schedule for the NASCAR National Championship. We will keep everyone in the loop if additional features will be added.
Race teams are looking forward to getting some real racing in and should provide some great action for the Old Dutch foods 25 lap main event this Saturday. Also on hand will be the Dean’s Satellite & Security Sportsmen, the Auto Value Parts Stores Thunderstox, the Auto Value Street Stocks, and the old time favorite Novelty event..the Fastor Pastor races. (Note: the Pastors have a bake sale in the grandstand..come hungry).
Thank You! The La Crosse Agricultural Society’s 50/50 and the support of the fans, has allowed some new lighting installed in the main walkway and front stretch of the track. Looks great!
EVENT INFORMATION:
Pit Gate Opens at 3:30, Practice Laps at 4:45, Grandstand Gate opens at 6:00 and Qualifying starts at 6:15. Racing starts at 7:30 p.m.
General Admission is $12.50, Students age 12-17 are $6.50, Kids age 6-11 are FREE this week.
PARKING IS FREE!
