HORNETS, TOP DOG AND KIDS’ RIDES THIS SATURDAY

(West Salem, WI – July 27, 2011) Be a part of the action and the fun at the Speedway this Saturday night, as KWIK TRIP presents the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series action. Come on out and watch the Kwik Trip NASCAR Late Models, the North Country Contractors Sportsmen, and United Auto Supply Thunderstox all battle it out. Plus, the Window World Hornets will take to the track and swarm the quarter mile with laps of racing enjoyment for the fans.

PLUS! It’s the popular TOP DOG race, where drivers race to the line, run up to the flagstand, eat a Hot Dog, get a splash of Coca-Cola and race back to their car and the finish line. This time it’s HORNETS VS. THUNDERSTOX! What team is most “hungry for a win?”

And…Bring out the kids early for the Wehrs Chevrolet KQ98 Kids Rides! Sign up at the souvenir stand for a ride in a real Sportsmen Race Car at 7:00. Space is limited so be sure to arrive and sign up your child early.

Gates open at 6:00, Qualifying is at 6:15, and the fun begins at 7:30. General admission is $11, Students age 12-17 with a Student I.D. are $5. Kids age 6-11 are $3, and Children age 5 & Under are always FREE.

Just six weeks remain in the 2011 Weekly Racing Schedule. If you haven’t had a chance to take in the great racing this season, be sure to stop out and watch a night of fun on the track.

SCHRADER TO VISIT SPEEDWAY SATURDAY
Join us at the track this Saturday night. It’s United Auto Supply Customer Appreciation night and Ken Schrader, who has his race team supported by Federated Auto Parts (also a parts provider at United Auto Supply), will be on hand to greet guests.

After the United Auto Supply meet and greet reception, Schrader will make his way over to the track and visit with the fans. Please join us in welcoming the 1988 Talladega 500 winner at the track this Saturday!
