POKSZYK FIRST TIME WINNER
Last Saturday night new faces rose to the occasion, as Jesse Pokszyk of Adams,Wisconsin won his first Late Model Feature as a Driver. He held off Nick Clements at the Finish. It was Nick’s best finish since returning to Late Models this season (he ran Late Models in 2011-2013 and earned one feature win). The two time Sportsmen champion finished ahead of Corey Jankowski of Tomah. Although Jankowski has had success at other tracks in Super Late Model classes, this was his best finish to date in a weekly Late Model event at LaCrosse Speedway. The top three in point standings, Tony Leis, Nick Panitzke, and Steve Carlson finished behind the top three. There’s new faces, new cars, and more excitement, which happens every week at LaCrosse Speedway – it’s time for YOU to BE THERE!
