2017 TAKES OFF WITH TWO EVENTS THIS WEEKEND

May 9, 2017 (West Salem, WI) – The 2017 LaCrosse Fairgrounds Speedway season begins this weekend, with two events – on Friday night and Saturday night. Bring Mom out to an evening of fun before celebrating Mother’s Day!

The LaCrosse Speedway’s 61st Season will open on Friday night, May 12th, and will featureKickass Beef Jerky Street Drags, plus the popular Burnout Contest and Shine N’ Show Contest. Bracket Winners will be treated to gifts courtesy of Kickass.

Brackets include Trucks, Diesels, 4WD / AWD, High Skool, Mustangs, Detroit Iron, Tuners, Domestic, Cycle
s, ATV’s, Mini-Vans / SUV’s, Open, plus many performance brackets.

Gates open at 6:00,Practice Runs at 6:45 and the first bracket begins at 7:30. Grandstand admission is $7, kids age 11 & under are Free. Pit Passes for all ages are $7, and to compete in Street Drags, registration is just $5 per bracket. It’s fast, it’s fun, so bring all your friends!

Then, on Saturday night, Tri-State Ambulance presents the NASCAR Whelen All American

Series opening race of 2017, featuring the Tobacco Outlet Plus NASCAR Late Models, Dean’s Satellite Sportsmen, Auto Value Thunderstox, ANTS Complete Pest Control Hornets, and Subway Restaurants Outlawz.

Plus, bring out the kids early for a ride in a race car, as it’s KQ98 Kids’ Cruiser Night. Sign up at the Souvenir Stand before 6:45 and then line up at the turn four gate for a lap around the track!

Qualifying starts at 6:15 and racing will begin at 7:30. General Admission is $12.50, Students age 12-17 are $6.50, Kids age 6-11 are $3 and children age 5 & under are FREE!

It’s a new season with new drivers and new cars! Come on out and see what all the buzz is about. Bring the family or friends and enjoy a few hours of fun away from the stresses of everyday life!
