2014 SEASON DRIVERS’ MEETING SET

February 10, 2014 (West Salem, WI.) Officials from LaCrosse Fairgrounds Speedway announced today that the annual pre-season competitors’ orientation meeting will be held on Sunday afternoon, March 23rd. The meeting will take place at the Fox Hollow Banquet Hall, which overlooks the beautiful golf course located in Barre Mills, Wisconsin.

Drivers, crew members, and anyone interested in participating during the LaCrosse Speedway’s 2014 season is encouraged and invited to attend. The meeting will cover race night procedures, memberships, pit parking, and other topics regarding the new season. All interested race teams will meet at the same time.

“Last year was a lot of fun for both the fans and the racers, and 2014 should be just as enjoyable for everyone,” stated Speedway Marketing Director Dave Noelke. “For drivers, this meeting is a good chance to connect with the officials and learn procedures of the new racing season. It is especially a good opportunity to have their attention to matters without the distraction of being at the track or worrying about setting up the car,” concluded Noelke.

Doors will open for the meeting at Noon, when registrations and media forms will be accepted. The meeting will begin at 1:00. Those in attendance are eligible for some great door prizes pertaining to the upcoming racing season.

The Hall is located at N3287 Cty. Hwy OA in LaCrosse (Barre Mills), approximately 5 miles south of the Speedway just off of Cty Rd M.

The LaCrosse Fairgrounds Speedway’s racing season for the first time ever will begin under the daylight. Budweiser presents the “Frostbuster” on Sunday April 27th featuring the Late Models, Sportsmen, Thunderstox, Hornets and Outlawz. Qualifying will begin at 12:45 and Green flag racing will start at 2:00 p.m.
